LOTUS MAHAL

LOTUS MAHAL is one of the fine architectural designed palaces that are uniquely identified by its lotus like structure. This glorious building is within the Zenana Enclosure, a segregated area that is used by the royal women of Vijayanagaram Dynasty. It is also known as Kamal Mahal or Chitragani Mahal. It is one of astonishing building in Hampi that had not been damaged or destroyed amid the attack on the city. The Mahal was a part of Zenana enclosure, a place where royal families of Vijayanagaram Empire resided. The Mahal is designed as a palace for royal ladies of those times to mingle around and enjoy recreational activities. A kind of kitty party of those days. The Queen of Krishna Dev Rai (TIRUMALA DEVI) used to spend her most of the time seeking pleasure and peace in the palace. The surrounding area of the palace is covered with many shady trees providing a cool ambiance to the palace. We can find a rare tree (RED CASSIA) in the gradens of Lotus Mahal

Hanging Bridge at Chekaguda is Odishas second hanging bridge near rayagada in odisha india over the Nagavali River. The bridge links to town Rayagada and nearly 8 panchayats. Harisankar

Sri Sri Harisankar Devasthana is a temple on the slopes of Gandhamardan hills Odisha in India. It is popular for its scenes of nature and connection to two Hindu lord vishnu and lord shiva. As a holy place, along with a stream passing on the granite bed it has given some visitors a feeling of peace. On the opposite of side of the Gandhamardan hills is the temple of Nrusinghanath. The plateau between the two temples has been found to have ancient Buddhist ruins which are considered to be remnants of the ancient Parimalgiri University The deity of Harisankar was discovered by a Chauhan dynasty king of western Odisha during the 14th century. From that time, the deity has been worshiped. A dancing Ganesha image has been found, which can be traced to the early 12th century. The temple was constructed by the order of then queen Durlabha Devi of Maharaja Vaijjal Dev Chauhan.

Godavari

The Godavari is Indias second longest river after the Ganga. Its source is in Triambakeshwar, Maharashtra and it forms one of the largest river basin in the Indian subcontinent, with only the Ganges and Indus rivers having a larger drainage basin. In terms of length, catchment area and discharge, the Godavari river is the largest in peninsular India, and had been dubbed as the dakshina Ganga – Ganges of the South.

The Hill is famous for picnic spot , the centre point of Hill with a god given Pond which never dried up even in warm summer and also Lord BUDHARAJA the worshipped GOD of all villages near about the Hill situated in the Hill. The "LOK MAHOTSABA" Celebrate in the month of April every year in the Hill so don't miss this golden spot "PAPANGA PAHAD" it took 4km to reach the top of the hill.
